Doppelganger

There was Darkness all over Elderien, and the silence that followed told Alastair that he was alone in Elderien at that time. There was nothing to be heard, not even the faintest sound of children playing or the cries of horses that usually kept Alastair company.

Alastair walked towards the Weapons on the table and gazed at those he had made. The swords, knives, and daggers lay arranged, like how he would have kept them. They shone even in the Darkness, and it seemed like they were infused with magic.

Suddenly, Alastair heard footsteps running towards him. He stopped and turned, and he saw Cara running closer and closer. She was dressed in the same outfits as that day when they first met. Cara dashed past him and his underneath a table.

"Quick, hide. They're coming."

She whispered to him. Alastair walked closer to her and crunched.

"Who is coming?" He asked her. Cara's yellow hair was particularly brighter than usual, and her eyes were like Sparks.

"The bad men. They are coming." Cara
