"She sent you to dissuade me, did she not?" Alastair asked Miranda who sat down on a chair. The chair was an antique, probably a hundred years old. It had Been sitting in the room for many years before Alastair renovated and took over. The chair was also one of his favorites.

"Should I dissuade you?" Miranda asked him. "Look, Alastair, I understand that you want to save the kingdom and you think that whatever is happening is your fault, but it is not. These just happened. If there is anyone to blame for this, it is me. I am the Queen and I failed to keep my people safe. It is all on me..."
