Tales of past horrors

Alastair walked towards the catacombs with Drax by his side. The catacombs were unusually dark at that time, and though it was just morning, it seemed like it was night time. The silence between Alastair and Drax appeared to make the tension even greater. He wanted to say something, but Drax knew he did not actually know how to speak with the older man. They had barely reunited, and he should not try to force good vibes.

"I take it you and Cara have gotten quite close..." Alastair started a discussion, and the suddenly mention of Cara made Drax embarrassed a little. He did not know that people had started noticing how fond they were of each other.

"Yes. She is a good girl, and a formidable one." Drax responded and Alastair nodded.

"She is. You Know, it is a good thing to have you by her side. Now when I am gone, I will be certain that she is in safe hands. You are my son afterall. Is there a better guardian than you?"
