CHAPTER 34 - DRUNK GUARDS - KING SELEM

I left my chambers few minutes before the commencement of the chief’s meeting I have today, I walked to my throne in the big hall and sat down.

One of my guards came to me and told me that they heard a noise yesternight but searched the whole place but couldn’t find anything but the noise seemed to be coming from inside the prison hall but after thorough searching, he couldn’t find anything suspicious.

What about the other guards who were on duty with you?

They were asleep your highness?

What do you mean asleep?

They seem to have been drugged with the wine they took.

I became worried because I know this have not been heard before in the palace of my guards being drugged and unidentified noise coming from the prison hall.

I remembered that my wife and sister Queen Clara have just escaped few months ago and her brother, my step-brother Prince Wgheneo is still in the prison and have not given me any information about the second purple crystal which he claimed to have lost.

I stood up and
