Jake stood in the room full of people and tried his best to understand what he was looking at.

There would always be a sense of strangeness in things like this to him. He could tell that beneath the hoods the members of Horizon wore, faces lurked underneath. Real faces of real people that had joined themselves to this agency and who would not want their identity exposed.

He could tell they had their reasons for doing that, but it also felt like a really stupid action to him. There was no way he would be associated with an organization like this and still want to keep it a secret, he would have made it public knowledge.

The man he had met before had been the one who brought him all the information he now had on Horizon. The fact that the man who had gone ahead to initiate him was also just a member had made him settled on the fact that if he ever got the chance to fully meet those who owned Horizon, then he would ask them to take him in as one of them.

Most of the elders that had been
