The gate to the Argon home was wide open by the time they began to drive in and Con smiled to himself. He had always wondered how the Blacks came to know the Argons. Janette might consider her family one of the best in the area, but in the whole of Glover city, they were more or less not so impressive. It would have been best if they had stayed as a low-key family and not gotten themselves involved in the schemes of his half-uncle, but they failed to do that and they made the mistakes that came with it. He already knew something had been done to him, some sort of surgery or something. He also had illegal organ harvesting cots scattered around the whole of Glover city so the fear of that being what had happened to him was well rooted in his mind.
