Con fell asleep in the car and had a dream.In the dream, his mother sang to him while he was still a baby in his cot. In her hand was a pentagon-like object. She waved it in front of his little baby hands and smiled her beautiful smile down at him.The dark object gleamed with an eerie light and Con found himself waking up with unrivaled calm and peace of mind.The day was just starting and he was already getting confused.Con sighed and sat up on the bed.His head was hurting and his eyes burned.He had fallen asleep last night on the way to Glover city. Xavier returned with a plate of rice and meat broth. Con sat down on the floor with his man and looked around as he took the food from Xavier. Just the scent of it made his stomach rumble more and he glared at Xavier as he noted the smile on the man's face. "Laugh at me and you'll find yourself six feet under." The smile on Xavier's face disappeared almost immediately and he cleared his throat as he handed his boss the spoon. "Breakfast is served, boss." Con sneered and tried not to throttle the other man. "While I'm eating, feel free to explain to me why I'm a thousand miles away from Glover city." Con heard Xavier gulp and he put a huge helping of the meat broth on the side of the plate of rice. In the military, they had eaten all sorts of foods. He could eat literally anything, his digestive system was that strong. Besides, the light brown meat broth smelled delicious.
