Chp 18 - A Situation

Jason excused himself when he heard Theo’s voice and he went to the kitchen to speak freely with his bodyguard.

The Rouarke’s home was an open-planned two-story with bedrooms upstairs and a living room, kitchen, and laundry room and a cloakroom. The kitchen doubled as the dining room. Jason could remember having so many fun moments in there since the day he entered the home.

Celia had placed a steaming bowl of mouthwatering lasagna in front of him that day after getting his details. It was by far his favorite room in the house.

He leaned against the counter, facing the door as he picked up his call in case anyone entered.

“Of course, I am going to tell them,” he thought to himself in defense as he felt a bit guilty for not telling his family about his new situation yet. “I just needed to find the best explanation first”
