Mateo banged the front door on his way out so hard that the sound resounded throughout the building.They were in the Eastwood residence of the Fitzgerald, where Matteo's men brought her after beating up the unfortunate maid. He had pampered her a lot as she complained over and over again about how she was mistreated in Jason’s residence. How she was made to do the work that was meant for a lowly maid. He hired a top-notch masseuse to help massage her callused hands, pampered her with the best of clothing and even hired a personal shopper for her to handle all her purchases as she had complained of not having the strength to go shopping. Whatever she demanded, she got with just a snap of her fingers.Matteo felt he at least had to oblige her for the fact that her wedding had been ruined. Their wedding, actually but it had not mattered much to him. He only did it to pacify her and because he could afford it. Plus the bonus of how it could help him gain more acceptance from his father.
