Chp 26 - Silas's return

“Yoh, what are you laughing at?” Silas tried to check what Jason was grinning at on his phone but the latter moved his phone back and danced out of reach.

“Nothing that concerns you,” Jason said with a smile then grinned at the exaggerated hurt look on Silas’s face. His sweat-drenched face looked like that of an overworked factory worker.

“What do you mean by it had nothing to do with me? No way! Are you hiding things from me now?” he held his hand to his heart like it was paining him.

Jason laughed “Quit your drama. I am still not showing you” Jason turned around and shoot the ball in his hand straight through the hoop.

“You heartless man” Silas groaned from the floor as he saw the ball sail through the hoop “I am dying here and you are still scoring one on me? Oh, oh my heart” he rolled over and the first spatter of rain plopped on his nose.

“Aww, come on! Even mother nature is bullying me!” he said with an aggrieved face that had Jason laughing out loud.
