Angie, the new manager of The Wild Deer, was in her room, responding to a complaint made by a bar customer named Rose.

From the moment she started complaining, Rose was very emotional. Sometimes her tone was so high that Angie frowned and rubbed her temples.

Just this morning she was appointed by Mr. Patrick to fill the vacant bar manager position, replacing Carl who was fired the night before. Who would have thought that she would already have to face a problem like this?

The customer who complained repeatedly said that the security guard who beat her friends had to be punished, or even fired, if necessary.

Angie didn't know who the security guard was. Presumably, the new guy who started working the night before. Later she would ask about this new guy's version once he appeared.

Knock! Knock!

"Come in," said Angie.

The door to the room opened, and Tony, the new guy, came in. Angie asked Tony to sit on the empty chair provided, just to the right of the chair occupied by Rose.

But then, he thought that Tony was just bluffing him, because when he thought about it again, what Tony said didn't make sense. So he smirked and laughed. “You bastard! You're trying to play me, huh! How dare you! You think I believe your bullshit?” Bernard scoffed. Tony raised one eyebrow, looking at Bernard strangely. He released his grip on Bernard's left shoulder and pushed Bernard's back with his foot. Bernard fell and his forehead briefly touched the dry and slightly hot hospital floor. "Shit! You're a fucking bastard! You fucking crossed the line, you know that?!" Bernard cursed, glaring at Tony with a flushed face. Of course, Tony didn't care. He just smirked slightly at the corner of his lips. He rubbed the soles of his shoes as if he had just stepped on dog poop. Seeing what Tony was doing, Bernard was really furious. Even though Bernard had given his orders clearly, none of the police officers approached. They remained in their respective positions, as if they were waiting for the real order. Of course, this made Bernard unhappy. Would these cops only arrest Tony if the one giving them the order was their commander? It was ridiculous if that was the case! Sweep! Bernard pulled back his robe, taking out the pistol he had hidden under it. He cocked the pistol, then pointed it at Tony. "It's okay if you don't want to arrest him right away. I'll cripple him so he can't escape when your commander arrives," Bernard sneered. Jessica turned and looked at Bernard anxiously. She didn't know Bernard Valmont, but it seemed like he was crazy enough. He could actually shoot Tony in front of these cops. Sometimes people who are too rich can act irrationally and not think about the consequences of what they do. "Tony..." Before Jessica could finish her sentence, Tony suddenly stepped forward, acting

It seemed Tony had taken them both down, likely knocking one unconscious. Bernard wondered what was going through Tony's mind when he decided to take out his guards. After all, they were in a hospital. "Don't play coy, Mr. Valmont. You know why I'm here," Tony said, glancing briefly at Erina lying on the hospital bed before locking eyes with Bernard again. "Well, it seems you've figured it all out. Honestly, I'm surprised to see you show up at the hospital. I guess I underestimated you, Tony," Bernard admitted. Bernard stood up, facing Tony.
