The old man held Brandon's pulse with his index finger.

"Who did this to you, young man? It's lucky your wound isn't too deep, otherwise you wouldn't be able to help yourself. You have very good endurance, young man. Whoever you are, I will treat your wound and heal it," the old man murmured.

The old man carried Brandon's body on his shoulders, before the wound in Brandon's stomach was bandaged with a tear in Brandon's shirt.

The old man took Brandon to his hut, which was far from the crowds.

The old man's hut was on the edge of the wilderness.

The old man laid Brandon's body on a bamboo bale, then he took off Brandon's shirt.

He observed the deep stab wound on Brandon's stomach.

Then he searched the forest for leaves to make medicine for the stab wound.

It didn't take long before the old man returned to his hut with a variety of leaves to make medicine.

He pounded the leaves together in a stone container.

Then after they were smooth, the leaves were smeared on Brandon's wounds.
