Mr. Badri looked into Brandon's eyes, then he cut back the rabbit meat that still had a lot left.

"You know young man, your nature and character are very hard. You never care about people who are in trouble. And your selfishness is very much on display. I've been living alone for a long time. My family was massacred by a group of irresponsible people. My son and wife were tortured and killed by them in front of my own eyes. I secluded myself and settled at the edge of this forest. I wanted to take revenge for what they had done to my family. But I have yet to get the chance to do so. They are too strong and numerous, I will not be able to fight them alone," said Mr. Badri, with a frown on his face.

"Oh my! Who would do such a thing, old man? Do you recognize the killers of your wife and son?" asked Brandon, accepting the piece of meat that Mr. Badri gave him.
