"What sound? I didn't hear any sound, only crickets and frogs," replied Mr. Badri, who was surprised by Brandon's question.

"Well, there you are, old man! You just pretended to be asleep and didn't answer my question. I was just testing you to see if you were really asleep or not," Brandon replied.

"How clever of you to test me, young man! I thought you heard something strange earlier," said Mr. Badri.

Mr. Badri was silent for a moment, planning to ask Brandon what happened during the night.

"Young man, has anything strange happened to you lately?"

"What do you mean, old man?" Brandon asked back.

"I mean, have you had anything odd or strange happen to you while you've been here?" replied Mr. Badri, as he asked the question back.

"I don't know! I told you, I don't remember anything that happened to me while I was here. The more I remember, the more it torments me. Why are you asking me this, old man? Do you see anything strange in me?" Brandon asked back.

"I see strangeness in you
