Stacey watched as the flames dancing around Westminster palace, a trail of smoke hung in the air as the building burnt, Stacey stood glazing at the building in wonder and shock as she would never have guessed that it would have been destroyed so easily. “You’re in shock, aren’t you?” Ben’s voice chimed in, “I can tell that you are babe,” Stacey turned her head slowly toward the other mega human anger and hate were in her eyes as she did this, she then ran towards him her arms stretched out towards his neck. “why the fuck didn’t you do anything to save those people?” She asked in an angry voice, “why the fuck didn’t you let me go after that van?” Ben looked at her emotionless not bothering to smile or anything, “you would have been killed or worse haven’t you learnt anything that I told you?” He said as he gently removed both of her hands from around his neck, “these Mega Humans aren’t like Haven Stacey, they are cold blooded killers,” he then turned his back on her and looked toward the river Thames.
“All my young life I had always thought that this part of the world was safe,” he then turned his head back towards her tears ran down from his eyes, “how wrong was I to think this?” Stacey then walked slowly up to him and put one of her hands across his waist, she then looked at him putting her head on his chest, “Ben I am sorry if I hurt you?” She said softly, “I think I just lost control that’s all?” Ben brushed her hair softly with one of his hands, “it’s OK babe,” he said in a soft voice, “I can understand how you are feeling at the moment.” As they both held each other there was a bright flash of blue light Ben picked his head up as he sensed a familiar mega human he then smiled as a blue colored mist swirled around the light and took on a form, that form was Mist, the blue skinned mega human was wearing a black colored top and trousers and on her head was a pair of sunglasses, she looked at Ben and Stacey giving them a puzzled look.
Stacey turned her head towards her, “Mist thank God what took you so long?” Mist looked at her then she turned her head towards the burning building in front Ben didn’t say anything but he could sense that she was troubled by what she saw, Mist turned her head towards them both her eyes were filled with both fear and rage, “what the fuck has happened here Ben?” Both Ben and Stacey looked up at her, “there has been an attack Laura,” Ben said his voice was soft, “we need to get out of here as soon as possible can you make another teleport with us?”
Mist looked at him and smiled, “yeah I can make the trip back to Haven Ben but as soon as I do this will you tell me everything that has happened?” Ben nodded to her and grabbed hold of one of her hands seeing him doing this Stacey did the same, Misty then turned to them both and smiled, “hold on tight you two as this is going to be a long trip back to Florida for all of us.” As soon as she said this Stacey could feel a surge of energy swirling around the three of them then there was a blinding flash of blue light as all three of them teleported out of London and back to Haven no sooner had they done this there came a the sound of sirens as a squad of emergency vehicles turned up to the scene followed closely by the army.
It had been five hours since the attack on Westminster, since that time Watcher and the rest of the Outcasts had imprisoned their prizes the MPs and had them locked up in tiny cells await their leaders orders on what to do with them, “what does the boss want these fools for?” Watcher asked himself as he threw one young woman into a cell closing the door before, she hit the floor, “maybe it’s something to do with the fact that he is still at war with Fox’s group?” He told himself as he let out a loud yawn, as he did this, he saw Shadow running towards him the mega human had a smile on his face, “what’s wrong with you?” He asked as the taller mega human stopped at his feet, “guess who wants to see you Watcher?” Shadow said in a mocking tone. Watcher looked at him and spat on the ground, “I don’t really care Shadow, I am tired, and I am now off to bed!” He yelled as he turned his back on the other Outcast member and started to walk off, before he could move Shadow grabbed hold of one of
It had been a few hours since Ben, Stacey and Mist had returned to Haven, since they return Ben had locked himself away in his study pondering over books and maps whist Stacey had been left on her own thinking why Ben was doing this, often she saw Frostbite and Powerhouse walking into the room only for them to leave a few minutes later, “what the hell is going on with him?” She asked herself as she sat quietly on a chair, “perhaps, he is ashamed of what he told me about his past?” Saying this she put one of her green hands into her jacket pocket and pulled out a photo it was one that had been taken of both her and Ben when they had met all those years ago, “I wouldn’t worry too much Stacey!” A familiar voice said in a calm and kind tone Stacey looked to her left and saw Mist, she was wearing a white colored dressing gown, and a white towel that covered her hair, “Laura?” Stacey shouted in surprise, “boy am I glad to see you,” she cried in a voice that was filled with joy and yet wit
It was getting late in the afternoon Stacey had now decided to join Mist in her room which overlooked the sea front, she sat down on a chair gazing out of Mist’s open window towards the sea, as she did this she noticed a large menacing black cloud looming over the horizon coming towards the mainland in a hurry, “looks like a storm?” She said to herself as she turned away from the window, as she did this she saw Mist who had now removed the towel from her head showing a head of dyed blonde colored hair, in her hands were two wine glasses and in another was a bottle of Rose wine, “here Stacey,” she said in a warm friendly tone as she handed Stacey a glass, “I hope that you enjoy this as this is one of my favorite wines?” She then put her glass down on a small table besides her bed and began pouring the wine into one of the glasses, she then handed it over to Stacey who then handed her the empty glass back, “thank you Mist, I have never had a bottle of this before,” “really?” Mist repl
Stacey made her way towards the study room, her hair was tied back into a neat ponytail and she was wearing a purple top and short blue jeans, as she made her way down the stairs towards the room she couldn’t stop thinking about what Mist had told her about Ben, “when did he suffer with some low self-esteem?” She began to ask herself as she drew closer to the study, she looked inside gazing in wonder at what she saw, the room was in a mess old newspapers had been throw on the room books were piled on tables and siting on a leather chair asleep was Ben next to him on a table was a half drunk glass on what looked like whiskey. Next to that was an ashtray filled with ash, “God what I mess? What the hell has Ben been doing?” She asked herself out loud as her green hand began reaching for the door handle, to her surprise and shock the door stung off, as she entered the room the smell of tobacco hit her noise nearly knocking off her feet, as rushed to the nearest window on the other side o
Ben stood gazing at the Capitals Senate building the large domed building had always caught his imagination, yet, this wasn’t the first time that he had seen it, “I wish that Stacey had come with me?” He said to himself as he began walking slowly towards the building, “how she would have loved it here.” The journey for Ben had been a lonely one as he had crept out alone from Haven, no, one knew where he was going well besides Stacey, now more than ever he missed her company, as he made his way towards the large building a large crowd of people gathered, some were politicians whist others were civilians, whenever someone saw he they flashed a friendly smile, Ben returned this back, “thank God these people don’t know who I am!” He said to himself as he made his way up to the steps outside the Senate, no, sooner had he done this, he noticed four people walking slowly towards him, there were three woman and one man all of them dressed in suits, “Peter aids no doubt.” Ben said to himself
Stacey sat on chair in Ben rooms the air was thick with the smell of tobacco in her hand she was holding a photo album, inside were photos of both Ben and her, “why did I let him go off like that?” She asked herself out loud, “why didn’t I say something to him?” She then got up out of the chair and put the album down letting it drop to the floor, she then walked over to the balcony and looked out over at the cityscape, “why couldn’t I have been stronger?” She asked herself in a low voice, as she looked out there came a loud knocking at the door, “hey, Stacey are you in here?” Asked a familiar voice, “the doors open Greena come on in!” Stacey shouted back, the door nearly fell from its hinges as Greena walked on it, here body was ribbed with muscle, she looked like Stacey apart from two differences her green skin was darker and she had flaming red hair, she was wearing a red and yellow jumpsuit a pair of fingerless gloves covered both of her hands and on her face she wore a pair of re
Ben sat chained to a small chair as he vision cleared, he could see that he was inside what looked like a warehouse, in one corner he could see a large row of crates, and in another two large canisters filled with gas, “where the Hell I am?” He said out loud to himself as he tried to struggle out of the chair, “I wouldn’t do that if I was you as you might hurt yourself?” A soft voice said, Ben’s eyes widen for as soon as he heard the voice he had felt a familiar presents, he turned his head slightly to his left and caught a glimpse of a tall figure standing in front of an open door, “Craig Chung?” He said out loud as he watched the Mega Human entering the room.Craig was a sight to behold, he was much taller than Ben well over six foot, he wore a black suit, his head was shaved and his eyes glowed blue-white, “it’s been a long time hasn’t it Ben?” He said as he came close to the chair, “far too long then I wish to remember Craig,” Craig looked at him and smiled, “I am glad that you re
Stacey sat next to both Mist and Greena looking bored and impatient as she watched Frostbite pacing from one corner of the large room back to the other, behind him was a large tv screen showing footage of an attack in Washington DC, sitting down at a large table were the members of Haven, Powerhouse, Zak, and a new member that Stacey had never met of seen before, he was tall with dark curly hair tanned dark skin and had a bit of stubble around his chin, Frostbite paused the television just as a soldier forced a young woman out of the senate building, “can anyone tell me what the hell is going on here?” He asked in a cold hard voice, Stacey looked at him, “this is the Outcast’s work and it’s just like what Ben predicted,” she said in a trembling voice as both Mist and Greena comforted her, “where’s the boss then?” Asked Zak, “shouldn’t he be the one leading this meeting?” Frostbite turned his gaze back to Stacey, “that is an interesting question and I would like to know where Ben is my
