Peter stared at Emma, his chest heaving, his breath unstable. The uncertainty in his eyes showed the turmoil roiling within him. Boyd looked around the vicinity, trying to see if there was anything he could make do with. Know the reason why Klaus was here on earth. He noticed the mansion had a lot of room in it. He entered the room and noticed it was empty. "What is going on here?" He mutters, seeing the room was neat and without furniture.Boyd's heart thud again hearing feint whispers. "You need to talk to Peter and try to reason with him. I am sure you will be able to get access to him." Boyd said before taking off. "How the hell am I supposed to do that?" Helena said before igniting the car. Helena drove towards the university campus and called Peter. "Can we meet up and talk?" " Why? You get something to talk to me about?" Peter fired back, not allowing her to ask anything further. "Who is that?" Emma asked, walking out of the room. He cut off the call and immediately walked towards the living room. Selena looked at her two children and smiled. "It is good to finally see you are focused. I wished you could make us all proud. The Final Battle****************The gods and the goddess have been keeping silent over the fight with Kluas. The fate of both worlds hanged in balance without the future uncertain. "Can you just tell me what I asked from you?" I said quickly. "Well, Boyd here is doing a fine job protecting us. I am sure we are in capable hands," she replied. "I am on my way. I felt my pulse quicken as I stared at Zack—or rather, at the being that had taken control of him. Kluas had merged with Zack’s body, his glowing eyes revealing the god's overwhelming presence, and the menace in his voice left no doubt. “You don’t have to do this, Zack,” I said, keeping my tone steady, though the tension in the air was palpable. My hand twitched slightly, ready to summon the power of the Reaper’s territory if needed. “Kluas is using you. He doesn’t care about you, he’s just trying to survive. Once he’s done, you’ll be nothing.” Zack laughed, the sound echoing off the empty court in a way that made my skin crawl. “You always were naive, Max. Kluas isn’t using me. We are one now. I’ve always wanted power, and now I have it—limitless, godlike power. The tension was high as we drove towards the university grounds. "Do you think anyone is going to be on campus?" Helena asked, looking anxious. "We need to be certain that no one is there. Kluas shouted in anger. And then something else happened. A territory appeared on the ground, giving immense power to all the reapers. Peter's eyes glowed, and his cut began to heal. You said you needed me to get my brother to corporate. Now that he doesn't, you want to leave him alone to die?" She yelled out her lungs. "Listen to me, kiddo. Your brother understands the sacrifices he needs to make for himself and the family. Do you think someone forced him to be here? He came willingly on his own because Kluas threatened to kill you all if he didn't." Zeoy looked into Emma's eyes, and she began to sob. "Please save him. Please save my brother." Derek looked back at the Whitmores as they stood frozen in the aftermath of the fight. The tension in the room was thick, the air heavy with unsaid fears and a sense of impending doom. Derek's eyes darted to Emma, her determination shining through her fear. She was a brave soul, much like her brother, and Derek couldn't help but respect her opinion, even if he felt unsure about having her along."Emma, stick close," Derek instructed, his voice low but firm as they exited the mansion. The team moved swiftly, blending into the night as they walked the darkened streets. Each of them got up, looking at her face. "He snapped and had us knocked out. Did you get him?" Gilbert asked "I am sorry, but when I got here, he was gone." Zeoy replied, watching Derek. "I told him I was going to protect her. I failed." Derek said with regret in his voice. "Now is not the time to sulk, Derek. We don't know what will happen to Peter. I was about to launch an attack at Kluas when Emma's phone rang again. Kluas had a sinister smile on his face as Zeoy and I looked at him. "Why don't you get that? It sounds pretty urgent." He said it with a smile on his face. "Do you think I care about them? Sending you back to where you belong will actually be saving a lot of lives." I replied as my face showed the mirror power within me. I can only pray that Derek and the rest of the reaper help in finding Helena on time.
