My joy knew no bounds as I kept replaying the talk I had with my parents. They were gone, but I had closure about who I really was, and I was back to my work as a grim reaper. BACK TO SCHOOL ******************I was thrilled to be back on the university campus. I have been away for a while, trying to save the earth. It wasn't entirely saved, but I had a little peace of mind. The air was cool as I walked and looked around. As I got back from home, I noticed Helena was a little different ever since I got acquainted with Cinderella. "Don't tell me you are jealous." I said it with a smile and moved closer to her. You have to believe me. I would never hurt her, even though I want you back. I was just bluffing." She pleaded. I looked at Cinderella up close as she walked closer to me. I had decided to stay hidden from Zack and Stephan. The thought of the proposal and taking the demon king head on enveloped my mind. I knew it was a matter of time before I had to face him, but the thought of losing myself in the process was all I could think about. This was my second chance as a grim reaper, and I wasn't going to blow it up. But yet, I needed to save Helena. I looked around and saw no one, but Cinderella was closing in on me. "How did you find me?" I asked, looking closely at her face. "This spit isn't a secret to me. I read here most of the time when I am bored. Besides, why are you out here alone?" The Final Battle****************The gods and the goddess have been keeping silent over the fight with Kluas. The fate of both worlds hanged in balance without the future uncertain. Kluas had merged with Zack’s body, his glowing eyes revealing the god's overwhelming presence, and the menace in his voice left no doubt. “You don’t have to do this, Zack,” I said, keeping my tone steady, though the tension in the air was palpable. My hand twitched slightly, ready to summon the power of the Reaper’s territory if needed. “Kluas is using you. He doesn’t care about you, he’s just trying to survive. Once he’s done, you’ll be nothing.” Zack laughed, the sound echoing off the empty court in a way that made my skin crawl. “You always were naive, Max. Kluas isn’t using me. We are one now. The tension was high as we drove towards the university grounds. "Do you think anyone is going to be on campus?" Helena asked, looking anxious. "We need to be certain that no one is there.
