"You smoke?" Alphonse said from the shadows of the hanging flowers and bushes where he sat waiting for Carla to come home. “Hello Harris, you look splendid today” Alphonse came out of an office to match the fast paced walking steps of Carla as she hurried with a pile of files to her office. She looked really busy and occupied today and as soon as Alphonse talked she opened the folder and started going through the papers. “What do you want Mr. Fischer and what are you doing here?” Carla asked without sparing him as much as a glance. Alphonse shrugged, carefree and giddy with news to spill today. "Hi" Charlotte greeted the sleepy-headed Alphonse who stretched and squinted his eyes from the morning sun. "Hey" he greeted her and sat up straighter in bed, a big smile breaking on his face as he came face to face with her. "How did you sleep?" Alphonse stopped abruptly in his steps as he closed the door to his study. He stopped almost scared to see her there and surprised but more so he was shocked and worried. She was here in his house where Charlotte was and he quickly saw his relationship hanging on a really thin thread. "Carla?"
