CHAPTER 105

“I warned him not to bring that bitch home”, John Clinton, the president of the United States of America said to his wife Joanna as he smoked his pipe and poured himself a drink.

Joanna Clinton, sat in front of her mirror trying to get herself ready for the arrival of her son.

She sighed and fiddled with the foundation brush in her hand, wondering how well she would do in covering up her bruises today.

Their age and status did not stop John from hitting her whenever he could.

“John, it’s time to let go of the past. Her father was your enemy and he is dead” Joanna said in a very soft voice from where she sat.

John kissed his teeth and scoffed. "I hope he's rotting in his grave." He said remembering his old foe.

"John, let the dead Rest In Peace you..." John spoke over Joanna, continuing his own talk and ignoring hers.
