CHAPTER 116

"Baby" Charlotte murmured and stirred in her sleep, Alphonse who was sleeping peacefully beside her awoke by her movements.

"Don't let go" she mumbled quietly, and if Alphonse had not been silent and paying attention he would not have caught it.

Slowly he raised himself up on one hand and propped his head on his palm while he stared at her.

It was dawn already and small rays of sunlight strayed into the room from the blinds. It seemed Tina had come in and closed it properly so the could have a good sleep and not get blindsided by the sun when it was time to feel the hang over from last night.
