“Can we go to Ruby's place? I need to see her for a few minutes” he said his voice barely above a whisper and closed his eyes. Ruby wiped her tears and angrily carried her bag. She doesn't care if he meant the harsh words he said to her or was just trying to push her away,his words really hurt her. Damian's eyes flew open as he felt an unfamiliar leg brush against his. He pushed it away, but it persisted, returning to its original position. Damian was so embarrassed of himself as he gazed at his reflection in Ruby's bathroom mirror, the crayon marks still on his face.
