Damian felt a surge of relief when Ruby asked about the amount he was willing to pay her, Yes! He was able to convince her to agree with him, just that they will have to set up some rules so that things wouldn't go wrong between them. Ashley's eyes widened in shock, her expectations shattered by Damian's confession. She struggled to find her voice, her thoughts whirling with disbelief. "How long have you been dealing with panic attacks?" she asked finally, her tone measured and calm. Damian's eyes locked onto hers, "Since I left the hospital. But I have been working on it. I've been receiving treatment and actively working on my mental health” “I'm really out of words right now. Why didn't you tell me in time" “I guess I didn't want to disappoint you anymore. Damian spent the remainder of the night writing out a set of rules he believed were essential for his living arrangement with Ruby. He eagerly anticipated presenting them to her the next day at work. The next morning, Damian woke up to find himself sprawled out on the floor at the entrance of the room he had slept in. He let out a frustrated sigh as he stood up from the floor and tried opening the door, then he realised the door was locked from the outside, a clever move by Ashley to make sure he doesn't leave the room when sleepwalking. With a sluggish pace, Damian dragged himself to the bed and reached for his phone to call Ashley. After a few minutes, the door was unlocked by a maid. All eyes in the Company's lobby were fixed on Ruby immediately they got out of the elevator as Damian escorted her out of the company, her feigned distress seemingly convincing. However, her intention was merely to prompt Nathan to leave,but before she could clarify the situation to Damian, he was already ushering her out with a flurry of concerned questions, taking on the role of a Doctor. It wasn't until they both settled into the waiting car at the entrance that Ruby finally exhaled a sigh of relief. "Take us to the nearest hospital, now!" Ruby wasn't caught off guard when Damian led her to her new room, situated directly across from his own. She had anticipated this arrangement because it would allow her to keep a watchful eye on him. The room was familiar territory, as they had shared intimate moments there on multiple occasions. As memories of what they had both done in the room flooded her mind, Ruby's cheeks flushed with a subtle blush. Damian forced a smile, gritting his teeth against the throbbing pain in his palm. "No problem," he replied, trying to sound casual despite his discomfort. Ruby's eyes narrowed, her suspicions piqued by Damian's sudden change in behaviour. Earlier, he had been relaxed and chatty, but now he stood frozen, his hands hidden behind his back. "Is something wrong?" she asked, her tone more dutiful than concerned. "No,I'm fine," Damian said quickly, forcing a smile that Ruby could easily see through. She knew him too well, and his attempted nonchalance only raised her suspicions. "I think I'll excuse myself for a bit," Damian added, eager to escape the kitchen and tend to his burning palm. "Dad, I think I have something that could really lift your spirits right now," Nathan said, entering his father's study where he seemed lost in thought. Matthew's gaze shifted from his introspection, curiosity piqued. "What is it, son?" Nathan's hand dipped into his pocket, producing a transparent package containing a toothbrush. A sly grin spread across his face as he presented it to his father. "This." Matthew's confusion was evident. "A toothbrush? What's so special about it?" Nathan's smile grew wider. "It belongs to Damian. With this, we can finally run a DNA test and expose him as a fraud. Just imagine it, Dad we'll prove he's been deceiving everyone, and the company will be ours, rightfully so!" Matthew's eyes narrowed, his interest piqued, as he sat up straight. "You actually managed to get your hands on it? Well done, son," he said, his satisfaction evident in his voice. He stretched out his hand, expecting Nathan to hand over the toothbrush, but Nathan shook his head, a
