Damian spent the remainder of the night writing out a set of rules he believed were essential for his living arrangement with Ruby. He eagerly anticipated presenting them to her the next day at work. The next morning, Damian woke up to find himself sprawled out on the floor at the entrance of the room he had slept in. All eyes in the Company's lobby were fixed on Ruby immediately they got out of the elevator as Damian escorted her out of the company, her feigned distress seemingly convincing. However, her intention was merely to prompt Nathan to leave,but before she could clarify the situation to Damian, he was already ushering her out with a flurry of concerned questions, taking on the role of a Doctor. It wasn't until they both settled into the waiting car at the entrance that Ruby finally exhaled a sigh of relief. "Take us to the nearest hospital, now!" Ruby wasn't caught off guard when Damian led her to her new room, situated directly across from his own. She had anticipated this arrangement because it would allow her to keep a watchful eye on him. The room was familiar territory, as they had shared intimate moments there on multiple occasions. As memories of what they had both done in the room flooded her mind, Ruby's cheeks flushed with a subtle blush.
