Ashley's hands trembled as she held her coffee cup, her eyes fixed on the unexpected email from the Company. The mention of an announcement sent a chill down her spine, and her mind racing with worst-case scenarios. Has Mathew somehow obtained Damian's DNA without his consent? Mathew's voice trembled with shock as he grasped the microphone, his words echoing through the room. "How is this possible? You're telling me he is not a fake?" He stumbled, his mind reeling from the revelation. Reporters closed in, sensing a scandal. "But sir, didn't you claim he was a fake?" one asked, thrusting a microphone in Mathew's face. The rest of the day at work felt weird to Ruby and other employees. Damian, with other directors which includes both Mathew and Nathan, had been in the conference room for about 2 hours, discussing Mathew’s uncalled for action. Ruby had always thought Mathew was the kind of person who would be smart with whatever moves he was about to take,but this time,he proved her otherwise. How could he think Damian was a fraud and not even check if his evidence was right before presenting it to the world? After about another thirty minutes,the meeting finally came to an end and Damian went straight to his office. Surprisingly for Ruby,Damian didn't sleepwalk at all that night and when she went into his room to check if he was fine,he was cuddling his pillow while he was asleep,so she went back to her room to have a good sleep too. As Damian pulled into the driveway, he felt a sense of calm wash over him. The long drive had cleared his head,just like he wanted it to. But as he stepped out of the car, his gaze fell upon a scene that made his heart skip a beat. Ruby was standing outside, laughing. At first,he only saw her,but when he moved closer towards her direction,she saw that there was also another person with her,a guy and they were both chatting. Damian's eyes widened as he struggled to process the memories. If what he had been remembering were his old memories does it mean most of the things he thought he knew were fake? The DNA Ashley did on her end proved that Javier Caden was indeed her son which was so confusing to her,so she went back to the Doctor who delivered her baby to question him. Since her own son was dead,and the stranger she happened to meet just because he was forcefully accused was proved to also be her son. The only place she could think about getting her answers from was the hospital she delivered her baby in.
