“How do you plan to handle this issue Mr President?” The annoying voice of Mathew took Damian out of his trance. “What is the issue, please?” Damian asked when he got to them. “The thing is…I…actually” Ruby stuttered. “You forgot to make reservations?” He asked calmly but deep down he hoped what he had just asked wasn't true. Damian couldn't believe there was someone on earth who would be wicked enough to contaminate elderly people's food with a deadly chemical. All because of what? “Let's go to the hospital where they are all admitted. She also felt sad about the discovery they made but she was sure Damian would be feeling more sad than she was. The security men at the hospital quickly rushed in and tried to stop Damian,but he didn't let go of the man. He totally ignored the voices that were calling him crazy. “Call the police,then I'll release him. This bastard is a murderer and he deserves to rot in jail for what he did”. “Do you have evidence to prove what I said? Let me go now before the police comes else everyone will see you as a crazy young man” “How about you let the police come first and see what will happen? Worry about yourself and not me” When the police finally came,Damian handed the man over to the police and explained what had happened. He also gave them the recordings he made just in case the man wanted to deny it like how every criminal does in movies. “Are you happy now that my husband has been taken away? He has a daughter who can't wait to open her eyes and see her parents again! What am I supposed to do now that her father has been taken away?” The wife asked Damian with her hatred for him obvious.

“How did you know he was the one responsible for all this?” Ruby asked Damian as she drove back to their hotel after the man had been taken away by the police. “I overheard him talking to his wife and I made a recording in case he was going to deny it” he exhaled and closed his eyes “But I know he didn't do it on his own. Ruby groaned loudly when she woke up. Her head was banging so much that it felt like it would explode. “Oh my goodness!” She exclaimed as she held her head in her hand. Then it dawned on her that she wasn't in her hotel room and even if Damian had transported her back home,the place doesn't look like her house. She tried sitting up,but then,she felt a masculine hand grasping her waist. Its grip was firm and possessive. “What did fuck did I do last night? I didn't sleep with some stranger, right?” She asked herself inwardly and she turned her head slowly to see who was beside her. Her eyes widened in shock when she saw it was Damian. “Holy shit!” She exclaimed and began to try her best in releasing herself from his grip. After a lot of attempts,she was finally free and she ran out of the room immediately. “You have woken up? Ruby began to pack her things when they got back to their suite. Damian had told her they would be returning to the city the next day since they were done with what they came to do and there were a lot of things he needed to attend to at the company. She gasped all of a sudden and stopped folding her clothes as the fragments of what had happened when she was drunk began to come together. She was already told she kissed Damian,so she was glad she didn't remember it herself but now that everything was coming back to her memory,she realised Damian kissed her back when she kissed him. Ruby stood outside the hotel,her eyes fixed on the departing car till it disappeared into the distance. Though she claimed she doesn't like her boss and whatever kiss they shared was a mistake,she still felt jealous. She felt like a bride who was abandoned on the altar for another woman. With a heavy sigh, she spun on her heels and went to the hotel bar. She had nothing to do in the suite so instead of just staying there alone,she would rather go drinking. “Can I get a drink, please? A strong one” she said to the bartender. As she sipped her drink,her eyes narrowed replaying what she saw.
