It was in the evening when Ruby finally opened her eyes. She had fainted earlier because Damian kissing her like that wasn't part of their plans. She never expected the kiss at all. She knocked her head when she remembered she closed her eyes.

“You fool!” She scolded herself loudly.

“You are awake?” Damian,who was sitting opposite the bed with his laptop in his hand said and she sat up immediately then watched him join her in bed. He touched her forehead to be sure she wasn't down with fever, because he was guessing that might be the reason she fainted.

“What are you doing here?” Ruby asked and sat up immediately.

“This is our room, remember?”

“Oh.." she looked around and scratched the back of her neck awkwardly "Can...we not get another room? How can two of us share a room? We are adults” she pointed out.
