Chapter 61

In the morning,the sunlight reflected through the bus window, casting a faint glow on Ruby's face. Her eyes slowly opened as she raised her hand to shield her face from it.

“Can you close the windows?” She asked as she wiped her face but she got no reply,so she staggered out of bed to close the window entirely and also put down the curtains

“That woke me up” she said to herself. She made her way to the mini fridge in the bus and took out a bottle of water. She felt so thirsty and gulped the water immediately.

It was when she wanted to return back to bed that she saw Damian, whose hands were now placed on the side of the bed she stood up from.

“Huh? What am I doing here?” She asked herself out of shock. Then the memories of how she struggled to go into Damian's bus the previous night despite how drunk she was flooded her mind.

“Oh my goodness! I need to get out of here before anyone sees me” she said and began to grab her things in a hurry.
