Damian was lying on his back with one of his hands wrapped around Ruby and her head placed on her chest. Ruby blushed when she realised she was naked and so was Damian. Last night after they had made love to each other, she wanted to put on her pyjamas,but Damian stopped her and told her to just sleep. Ruby's phone rang, disrupting their moment of comfort. The screen flashed Thomas' name,so she picked it up and answered.“Hello?” She answered and Damian looked at her wondering who she was speaking with.“Hello Miss Ruby,have you found Mr Stevenson?” Thomas' voice came through the phone. The next morning, Damian had woken up before Ruby. He made her some pancakes and scrambled eggs. He took his bath,got dressed and left the house with his luggage after leaving a note for her. When Ruby woke up and saw Damian was gone,she was overwhelmed with sadness. Not like she was never going to see him again at work,but she just wished he could remain with her. A smile crept on her face when she saw the note and breakfast he had left for her. She pulled out a chair in the kick and silently ate alone.—-------“Are you okay? His driver wasn't at the entrance yet and he was very impatient to wait for him,so he hailed a taxi. His hands were shaking as he tried to open the door. He jumped in and gave the driver the hospital's address “I beg of you, please hurry!” The driver nodded “Okay sir” . He saw how impatient Damian was since the time he hailed his taxi so he guessed it was something urgent.
