Damian was rushed to a hospital in an ambulance. He was taken to the emergency room immediately and the doctors rushed to take him from them “How is he?” A doctor asked the ambulance men.“He was barely unconscious when we arrived. For the rest of Damian's stay at the hospital,Ruby didn't show up to check on him after he had told her to go get a life. A part of him was satisfied that she stopped coming while the other part ached. In denial,he made himself believe that it was just his heart glitching even when he knows that the heart doesn't glitch,because why would his heart ache just because his Secretary obeyed his instructions?First impressions really matter because the sight and attitude of Ruby when he first woke up was part of the reasons he disliked her.
