Chapter 110

After stopping for a while, Gaganda walked over to Louis' wife and dried his blood-filled hands on the lower part of her flair knee-length gown. He caught a glimpse of her skin and attempted to touch her, but she flinched away. He chuckled and rose to his feet, a malicious gleam in his eyes.

"This is all your fault," Gaganda began, his voice cold. "You caused the death of my brother. That's why you are here—to suffer and die."

Louis, trying to catch his breath, managed to reply, "You betrayed me, Gaganda. You know that."

Gaganda interrupted, his voice rising. "Yes, so?! My brother was beaten to death by your men because they tried to save your wife! You call that betrayal?"

Louis sneered, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth. "Your brother wanted to harm my wife. He got what he deserved. His death was a mistake, but it was the consequence of his own actions."
