Master Chen arose from his seat and approached Gabriel. "Thank you, Gabriel. You’ve shown extraordinary skill and honor tonight."

Mr. Mac nodded in agreement. "We doubted you earlier, and for that, we apologize."

Gabriel shrugged, a small smile playing on his lips. "No harm done."

Mr. Mac continued, "I have to say, if you were my son-in-law, I would consider myself very fortunate."

Zendaya coughed, trying to draw attention. "Well, I think someone like Gabriel needs a partner who is more... feminine. Someone who can match his presence." Her eyes flicked towards Anna, her comment a thinly veiled jab.

Gabriel, however, ignored Zendaya’s slight and turned to Anna. "Anna cares deeply about her family and its prestige. She’s always thinking of others. Mr. Mac, you’re incredibly lucky to have her in your family."

Anna blushed, looking down to hide her smile. "Thank you, Gabriel," she murmured.

Master Chen held up his hands and clapped for Gabriel. "You’ve earned our respect, Gabriel. Though
