After a few hours of pleasure, Jarod lay beside her with satisfaction, breathless, their bodies tangled beneath the sheets. He let out a laugh, still catching his breath.

“You know, if you keep this up, I might actually start thinking you enjoy this.”

She smiled, her cheeks flushed. “Maybe I do, but you make it hard to breathe!”

He chuckled again, collapsing onto his back, feeling the warmth of her body next to him. “Well, at least you didn’t pass out this time,” he teased, pulling her closer into his embrace.

“Just give me a moment to recover, will you?” she gasped, her laughter bubbling up again.

Jarod closed his eyes, letting himself drift. “I appreciate you, you know. You’re like my own personal recovery spa.”

Her laughter faded as she nestled against him, content and warm. “You’re ridiculous.”

“Yeah, but you love it,” he murmured, succumbing to sleep.

The next morning, Jarod woke to sunlight streaming through the window. He turned and saw her still sleeping, her face peaceful. H

Gabriel stirred after what felt like hours of restless sleep. His body was aching, especially his neck, from the awkward position he had been forced into all night. As he blinked his heavy eyes open, the sight of Tamara sitting near him made his annoyance spike. His gaze immediately settled on the chains that still bound him, and the frustration boiling inside him intensified."You're still keeping me chained like some animal?" His voice was rough, thick with resentment.Tamara glanced at him, her expression calm but with a flicker of remorse. "Hey, I'm sorry," she said plainly. Despite the emotionless tone, her eyes held an unusual sincerity, something Gabriel found unsettling. He scoffed. "Sorry? Why exactly are you doing this, Tamara? Holding me captive? For what?"She looked away for a moment, hesitating. "Because… if you leave, my life will be in danger. Master Russell won't let me go if you escape. I'm stuck, Gabriel."Gabriel's laugh was bitter. "So, I'm your ticket to a better

Jarod stormed into his car, his face tight with frustration. He slammed the door shut, gripping the steering wheel as his mind raced. Anger still simmered beneath the surface. “This didn’t work out,” he muttered, a sly smirk forming on his lips. “But at least I get to know Gabriel’s weakness.” His expression turned smug as he reached for his phone and quickly typed a message to Tamara: "I’m going to make him reveal the truth. Let’s work together."Satisfied, he sent the message and immediately made another call. His tone was cold and direct. "Set up a good dinner date for two. Make it perfect." He ended the call and leaned back in his seat, his smirk deepening as he envisioned his next move. His eyes gleamed with the thrill of manipulation.---Back in the cell, a heavy silence hung between Gabriel and Tamara. Camella's fingers paused over the keyboard, and she glanced at him. "Just go, Gabriel."Instead of leaving, he reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out a single rose. "I’m not leaving until you accept this. Please, forgive me."She sighed, feeling the tension in her chest ease slightly. His apology seemed sincere, and though a part of her wanted to resist, she took the flower from his hand."Thank you, my love. I promise I will do anything you want from now on.""It's okay," she said, her voice still distant. "Get up."Gabriel stood, trying to lean in for a kiss, but Camella shifted away, brushing a hand through her hair.He tried again to touch her, but she stood quickly, walking to her cabinet as if looking for something. She could feel his eyes on her, and when she turned back, he had a pained expression. Camella glanced around, taking in the elaborate décor and candlelit surroundings. She smiled faintly. "I don’t usually like open setups this much, but I appreciate the gesture."Internally, Jarod cursed her for not enjoying what he’d painstakingly arranged. He forced a smile and spoke with a hint of sarcasm. "Well, I guess it’s just one more thing to add to the list."Camella eyed him curiously. "You seemed to have spent a lot on all this, Gabriel."Jarod puffed out his chest a little. "Yeah, I spent roughly $1 million to create this special night for us... for you."Her utensils clattered onto her plate, her mouth falling open in shock. "You spent $1 million? On this? Why?"Jarod raised an eyebrow. "What? It’s a special occasion, right?""Gabriel, you've never been this extravagant before," she said, her voice soft but incredulous. "I appreciate it, but... it’s too much."Jarod hung his head slightly, mentally cursing again. "What kind of life did Gabriel live? This guy has over 500

Camella’s expression shifted, uncertainty and confusion crossing her face. She finally found her voice. "Why do you want me to wear this?" she asked softly, holding up the delicate lingerie Jarod had given her."Is anything wrong with it?" Jarod’s voice was calm but insistent."No, Gabriel, but…" She hesitated, glancing down at the outfit. "You’ve never asked me to wear something like this before.""Now I did." His tone was firm, leaving no room for argument. "I want to see you in it. To see you transform."Camella’s reluctance was clear, but Gabriel’s insistence left her with little choice. After a long pause, she gave a resigned nod and walked toward the bathroom. As the door clicked shut behind her, Jarod reached into his pocket, pulling out a small, discreet video recorder. It was barely noticeable, designed to blend in. He set it on Camella's study table, concealing it behind a stack of books. The color of the device matched perfectly with the books, making it nearly invisible.

His eyes fluttered open, adjusting to the sight before him—Seraphina, standing there with a mocking grin, her shoulders shaking with laughter.“Why are you laughing?” he asked, his voice hoarse, barely masking his confusion. “Do I look amusing to you, lying here wrecked like this?”“Not really,” Seraphina replied, her lips curling. “Actually, I played a little trick earlier, and it seems to be working. I can hear the cries echoing all around. They’re devastated… those weak humans.”Gabriel frowned, trying to process her words. “What do you mean?”She stepped closer, her dark eyes glinting as she leaned down, speaking in a low, deliberate tone. “I gave you a claim mark,” she said, her fingers lightly brushing his arm. “It’s imprinted right there, on your skin.”Gabriel’s eyes widened as he looked

Gabriel was thrown back into his dark, cold cell, his body bruised and battered. The guards had shown no mercy, following Queen Seraphina's orders to the letter. They took turns flogging him, their harsh laughter echoing off the stone walls. He had barely any strength left, yet he forced himself to stay conscious, unwilling to give them the satisfaction of seeing him break. After the beatings, they chained him up, suspending his arms so he couldn’t lie down. The heavy chains cut into his wrists, but he bit down hard, swallowing his pain. As if that wasn’t enough, cold water was splashed on him, drenching him, making the chill seep deep into his bones. It was all part of the queen’s relentless torment. Meanwhile, Thelma watched from the shadows, her heart aching. Her mother’s cruelty had gone too far. But she had been powerless to stop it, her powers restricted under strict orders from Seraphina. She clenched her fists, unable to bear seeing Gabriel in this condition any longer. Gath

He knew he had to act fast, but the creature’s movements were unpredictable, darting around him, taunting him.“Come on,” he muttered to himself, trying to steady his breathing. “Just one opening… that’s all I need.”The creature lunged, and he sidestepped, narrowly avoiding its sharp claws.
