Camella's footsteps faltered as she approached the company's entrance, her eyes widening in surprise at the sight before her. Mark and the chief security officer knelt on the ground, their heads bowed in contrition.

Confusion clouded Camella's features as she listened to their apologies, her mind racing to make sense of their sudden change in behavior. "I don't understand," she admitted, her voice tinged with disbelief. "What's going on?"

Mark looked up, his expression pained as he met Camella's gaze. "We owe you an apology," he began, his voice heavy with regret. "We accused you falsely, and for that, we are truly sorry."

The chief security officer nodded in agreement, his own guilt evident in his downcast eyes. "It was a mistake," he confessed, his voice filled with remorse. "We let our emotions cloud our judgment."

Camella's brow furrowed in confusion, unable to comprehend the sudden change in their behavior. "But why now?" she pressed, her voice tinged with curiosity.
