It’s the conoration of King Alfred. The newly crowned king of England The palace was filled with the most important personalities: some royal friends from other neighbouring countries, nights, etc.

There was a lot of food, drinks, and entertainment. The magicians were doing some tricks, and everyone was enjoying themselves.

"Please, let's come from the newly crowned king, King Alfred. We need some quietness in the house," Sir Fredrick echoed.

Everyone kept silent to hear what the king had to say. As the king stepped out from his throne, he looked around the palace hall. As he smiled, the people in the palace clapped for him as he walked out. Their crowd outside the palace was still waiting for the king to come and address them.

The king speaks to the people in the palace first.

"I am happy to be the king of England, my father, the late King David; he really did a great job on the throne; he protects the people's interests; he won so many battles; he is a man of peace; he has gone to meet his ancestors; may the Lord accept his soul. I want to use this opportunity to thank everyone in here today for standing with me. You really showed how you stand with me to be crowned the king. I will continue my father's great work. I will protect the people of England with all in me. I will work for the people as the people will work for me. May the Lord bless the people of England. Lord bless England."King Alfred finished the speech.

The people in the palace clapped and cheered the king, the queen still sitting on her throne as she clapped for her husband, the prince and the princess stood up to clap and cheer their father.

"Let me address my people outside the palace," King Alfred said.

He proceeded to the oustide corridor to address the people (citizens) of England, who are outside the palace of the king. The king walked out with his queen and the prince and princess; the knight followed him with some palace councils; the visitors were still in the palace; the likes of the king of Rome, the king of Paris, other queens, and many more sat inside as they enjoyed their meal.

As the crowned saw their new king, they all cheered him, shouted, and blew whistles at him. The atmosphere was filled with joy.

"All hail the new king of England, the son of King David and King Alfred," the king's spokesman echoed to the crowd.

"Long live the king!

Long live the king!

Long live the king!!! " The crowd choruses

"It is an honour to be standing in the presence of the great people of England. I am happy to see you all here cheering me. You all know my father very well; he is a good man; he ruled with honesty, truth, integrity, and love. A good man of his calibre shouldn't leave this world; the Lord knows it all; he left to meet his ancestors. I am standing here in your presence to promise you all that I will continue and walk through my father's path; the peace of this great country will be maintained; the love within and outside the country will be maintained; I love you all; let England be lessed." King Alfred gave a short speech to the citizens.

Everyone cheered as he finished his speech; the crown was very happy; the drummers started beating the drums; the people started dancing; and the party continued. The king walked back inside the palace with his family and the palace crew to meet his visitors.

The late King David had only one child, which was King Alfred. King Alfred had two children, Prince Oliver and Princess Emma. The wife of the late King David died many years ago; she was diagnosed with cancer.

The new king met the king of France, King Edward, and they exchanged greetings. The king of France congratulated him and gave him some presents, as he would take his leave and go back to his country. The king of Rome, King Andre, meets King Alfred; he congratulates him and gives him some presents as he takes his crew back to his country.

Some other personalities in the palace all gave the new king a present as they all took their horses and warriors back to their respective countries and villages.

After three days of the coronation, the queen of England, Queen Ruth, went to the market with her son, Prince Oliver, to buy some stuff with the palace guards. The people at the market, both male and female, were surprised to see their queen shopping by herself. A man rushed to the queen as he saw her from afar.

"Long live the queen; my queen is quite unpopular to see the queen coming to the market to do shopping by herself. I will offer my daughter, who has eighteen years to work for the palace, at least to ease the stress from the queen," the man said to the queen.

The guards were stopping the man from getting to the queen. The queen stopped as she listened to the man make her offer.

"I acknowledge your interest in the queen and the palace, but the palace has a lot of maids doing the chores. I decide to do this myself; at least get to see my people and how the market is going. I don't want to turn down your offer; bring your daughter tomorrow to the palace; I will make her my daughter's personal maid." Ruth tells the man

The man was very happy; his facial reaction says it all. He thanked the queen and left with a whole lot of joy. The prince saw and heard everything.

"I don't have a personal maid, mom; you just found one for my sister; she's not even here. How sure are you that she needs a maid?" Prince Oliver questions his mom.

He was satisfied with his mom's reply to the man but not happy with his mom accepting it for the princess.

"I think your sister needs a maid; you also will need one, but do you need a female maid? Absolutely not, because you will also go with the maid while travelling or going to hauntings. I know you well; you love hauntings. You need a male maid. I won't get you a maid; you will do that ourself." Queen Ruth replied

Prince Oliver didn't say a word again; he was short of words towards his mom. He replied to get himself a maid of his choice. The queen was tired of walking; the guard brought a horse forward, and the queen entered on top of the horse as they rode slowly and left the market with some stuff they had gotten from the market.

The king and the elders were in a council meeting in the palace.

They were discussing how to end the witches within the country. They have good and bad witches; the bad witches make the good ones look dangerous. The rate of witchcraft in the country was regulated by the late king, but King Alfred thinks it will be dangerous for him to leave the witches still living in the country as they will battle him on the throne.

"Banishing The witches from the country, just days you are made, the king will bring a bad name for you, your Highness. Theres some other way to fight the bad witches." Sir Fredrick opposes the king's motion.

"It is quite understandable that you are afraid of the bad witches, but we all know how important the good ones are to the country. We can't just take them out of the country if we do something very bad that will fall on us if not taken care of," Sir Leonard added.

There is a round where the elders sit while the king sits in the middle as the king and the head of the country. The king has six elders or councils, and they all have their opinions on the king's new motion.

"Your Highness, the witches, which we know also killed our late King David, are definitely important to us, but they have done more harm than good to the country; taking away our beloved king is something we have to take into consideration." Sir James gave his opinion in bitterness.

"My king, the good witches had saved us from so many dangers in the past, starting from the fluid, the war with the Vikings, and the plague. My king, we can't banish the witches; we have to regulate it, like your father did; get the bad ones to justice." Sir Jim made his own opinion.

Everyone is giving out their opinion, while the king just listens.

"Your Highness, first you have to do what you think will benefit your rule as the king of England; banishing the witches will be a plus to your rule; at least we can say you don't have time to fear for your life in the palace; but the other way you will lose some of your people's belief that you can lead them to glory; letting the witches stay and regulate their way of working; getting to punish the bad ones will also bring hatred to your name; and enemies will surround the palace as well," Sir Mason said.

"The king will always have enemies; banishing the witches will make our enemies outside the border attack us; they will believe there will be no witches to reveal to the king about their attacks." Sir Thomas spoke lastly.

Within the witches, there were the good ones, just like the suitsayers and the healers. The bad ones do use some black magic to kill and voke the dead to attack the living. The bad witches were one of the major reasons why King David was late. King David had attracted so much hatred from the bad witches that they attacked the king spiritually. That was the fear of King Alfred.

"I know about all this, the hatred, the attack, and am aware I will lose some of my citizens trust, but we have to do what is good for the country. The witches have killed so many people and taken many lives, which my father was aware of. My dad always wants peace, but we can't keep finding peace in the midst of our enemies and let them keep destroying us every day. We need to put an end to it. Let's adjourn this meeting. You all need to go and think about this. Our next meeting, let's come to a conclusion," King Alfred said.

The meeting was over; the elders left the palace; the palace guards, standing within the door, opened it as the elders left the palace to their respective houses; the king sat at the palace; and the prince walked in.

"Greetings, your Highness," Prince Oliver greeted

"Your welcome, my prince. What bothers you? Your face shows no happiness," King Alfred asked.

The king looks at the face of the prince as it is strong. The prince is not happy; he wants a female maid while his mom wants him to get a male maid.

"Father, I want a maid, definitely not a male maid like mom wishes me to get; I need a female maid, is that much?" Prince Oliver replies to his dad.

His dad chuckled. He was shocked by his son's requirements.

"Son, there are many maids in the palace, female and male. You can call on any of them to do your chores; there is no law against you calling any of them," King Alfred said.

"I am talking about a personal maiden; I need a female maid," Prince Oliver clarifies to his dad what he is actually talking about.

"Haha, Oliver, your the prince; you want a personal maiden; it doesn't matter if you are male or female; get yourself a maid and find a wife for yourself; your twenty-five; I married your mom at twenty-three," King Alfred said.

The prince didn't say anything else; he just left the palace, shaking his head.
