CHAPTER 5

King Atticus spies at the kingdom of Enchancia, left the kingdom and reported king Oden's plans to king king Atticus.

And with that, king Atticus knew when king Oden would attack his kingdom. So in time, he told king Brandon about king Oden's attack against his kingdom.

King Brandon who had already lost his wife Natalia, named her daughter Freya. And since then, head maid Isabelle has being the one taking care of her becoming her nanny.

Few weeks later, King Oden was prepared to attack king Atticus kingdom. While king Atticus and Brandon had already set out their soldiers heading to the kingdom of Enchancia.

Along the way, they king Atticus and Oden came across each other.

"You!" King Oden said angrily.

"Well, well, well, isn't this a surprise." King Atticus said.

"King Oden, I knew from the very day you would be coming to invade my kingdom. So as you can see, me and my partner king Brandon, and the rest of us are here to take every single thing that belongs to you." King Atticus said.

"You killed my brother Magnus and also his wife and children as if that wasn't enough. Now you've come here to kill me?" Ha ha ha ha.

"This is the end of you and your partner Atticus along with the rest of your men. Attack." King Oden shouted.

King Oden's men ran forward to attack King Brandon and Atticus men. But before they could clash through, king Brandon gave a signal to his archer's to fire.

Arrows rained down on King Oden's men while the rest of them clashed at King Brandon and Atticus men.

King Atticus rage increased and rode after King Oden himself with his horse. While King Brandon kept fighting King Oden's men.

Before king Atticus could get to Odin himself, he fought five powerful warriors before he was finally able to meet one on one with king Oden.

"This is it Oden, this is where you die." King Atticus said angrily.

"We'll see about that." King Oden replied with rage.

They dueled each other with marks all over themselves, King Odin was a bit stronger than king Atticus and wanted kill Atticus. But before he could do that, king Brandon saved Atticus life from the hands of King Odin stabbing him at the back with his sword.

"You alright?" King Brandon asked.

"Yes I'm fine, thank you." King Atticus replied.

King Brandon and Atticus defeated King Oden and his men again and headed straight to the kingdom of Enchancia.

As they got there, king Atticus gave orders to wipe out everyone in Enchancia. Leaving no one alive.

After the kingdom of Enchancia was wiped out, King Brandon got a strange feeling about the kingdom of Enchancia.

"Atticus?" king Brandon called.

"Yes." king Atticus replied.

"There is something strange about this place." King Brandon said.

"Really?" King Atticus asked.

"Yes Atticus, I feel like this kingdom is chanted with Magic." King Brandon replied.

"Well then, we can take a look around the kingdom." King Atticus said.

King Atticus kicked his horse, going inside the kingdom of Enchancia while Brandon followed.

King Atticus started looking around as if he knew everywhere and where he was headed inside the kingdom.

"With that king Atticus saw a beautiful door sparkling, a door that even king Oden never knew of hidden inside the kingdom of Enchancia.

"Brandon? Take a look at this." King Atticus said walking straight to the door.

Brandon followed king Atticus walking behind him.

"Wow, it's a very beautiful door." King Brandon said.

"Why is there a strange language written all over it?" King Brandon asked.

"Maybe there is something behind the door that king Oden doesn't want anyone to know about." King Atticus said.

"Maybe the high priest would be able interpret the words for us." King Atticus said.

"Why don't we just destroy the kingdom the same way we did to the Shadow kingdom?" King Brandon asked.

"Not yet brother, I would like to know what exactly is behind that door. King Atticus replied.

Having said that, he turned around returning back to his kingdom.

The next day, King Atticus and Brandon took the greatest high priest to the kingdom of Enchancia to interpret the strange words for them.

Getting to the kingdom, they showed the door to the high priest.

Looking at the door, the high priest couldn't read the words. But he could feel a magical energy behind the doors.

"Your Majesties, I can not read the words." The high priest said.

"And why is that? Are you not the greatest high priest of all?" King Atticus asked.

"Your Majesties this door is filled with a very powerful magic, I could feel it's magical energy from here." The high priest said.

"And your Majesties, this symbol right here, is some kind of an item that might be able to unlock the door." The high priest said.

King Atticus walked closer to the door and looked at the symbol.

'Why didn't I see this before?' King Atticus thought.

"It looks like some kind of an item." King Atticus said.

"We have to find that item no matter what, even if it means searching the whole world." King Atticus said out loudly.

"Atticus?" King Brandon called.

"Yes brother." He replied.

"Can I have a word with you alone?" King Brandon asked.

"Sure!" King Atticus replied as they walked away from the high priest.

"Atticus, don't you think we should just let this be? I mean we just heard what the high priest said, he couldn't even read the words on the door himself. Maybe there is a good reason for that. Maybe the door was never meant to be opened." King Brandon said to Atticus.

"I don't know if that might be true, but I'll think about it." King Atticus replied and walked away.

King Brandon and Atticus both returned to their Kingdoms. That night, king Atticus was thinking about what king Brandon had told him. But his mind didn't play along with king Brandon's ideas.

All he could think about is maybe he could be granted with magic powers, if he finds a way to open the door. He started thinking about how king Brandon saved him from the hands of king Oden. This made him more angry and wanted the door opened as quickly as possible, behind Brandon's back because he wanted to be the most powerful king in the world.

King Atticus started searching for the item without letting King Brandon know anything about it.

Months blew by and king Atticus couldn't find the item he was looking for. With that he became very angry that he haven't found that precious item he so longed for.

Few days later, king Brandon came to Atticus kingdom.

"Atticus, it's been a while." King Brandon said.

"Indeed it has brother." King Atticus replied.

"So tell me, what have you being up to lately?" King Brandon asked with a smile on his face.

"Nothing at all brother." He replied.

"Anyways I just came to remind you that you should never open the door at the kingdom of Enchancia. Because since then we haven't spoken to each other." King Brandon said.

"Shut up." King Atticus said.

"What?" King Brandon was surprised with Atticus words.

"You have no right to tell me what do Brandon. I am going to find that item no matter what. With or without your help." King Atticus shouted.

King Brandon was astonished by king Atticus words against him.

"Atticus why are you acting this way?" King Brandon asked and wanted to make peace.

Atticus thinking about how he saved him from King Oden again, made him very angry.

"Get out of my kingdom Brandon. You are making fun of me aren't you?" King Atticus asked.

"About what Atticus?" King Brandon asked confused.

"Don't pretend you don't know brother. You are making fun of me that you saved me from the hands of Odin." King Atticus said angrily.

"Why on earth will I be thinking about that Atticus? He could have killed you right down there, should I just stand by and watch him kill you?" King Brandon asked with anger.

"Get out of my kingdom and I don't want to see you ever again." King Atticus shouted with anger.

"I will leave Atticus. But remember this, you are the cause of bringing enmity over our friendship." King Brandon said and walked away.

Since then, king Brandon and Atticus never heard from each other for months and became enemies.

King Atticus became a very bad king. He has been searching for the item because it is the key to unlock the secret door. He wanted this powers so badly, so that no Kingdom would be able to stand against him with such powers, not even his old friend King Brandon.

King Atticus and Brandon both made a vow never to destroy any villages during the time they were still friends.

And months later, king Atticus stepped out of line breaking that vow. Due to his greediness of wanting such powers, he started destroying every single village he came across in search for the item, leaving no one alive.
