Dominic shut his eyes slightly when he heard the tires screech. Now he would have to go on and start explaining where and why he was almost in an accident.
The crankshaft popped and the car jerked in a rickety manner for a few minutes before it finally came to a halt.
" Yeah, I'm good." He responded and coughed when the fumes entered his nostrils. " Let me call you back, Selena." He said and hung up promptly.
He alighted from the car and went to the boot to inspect what could be wrong with the car, he noticed that the back tires had been deflated, and the same thing went for the tires.
He quickly reached for his gun and stuffed it into his pocket. He was left on the wide road. Thus was a distraction to deter him from reaching his destination and he had an inkling of who was probably behind it.
