The next morning, Selena bubbled with so much energy as she prepared to go to the office. She could barely sleep the previous night as energy strummed through her veins. She could feel it like a dose of dopamine. It was exhilarating like a kid on sugar rush.

" You are very happy." Dominic commented from the bed where he was watching everything that was going on."

She held a burgundy gown in front of her figure and beamed, "Should I wear this? I think it's too short."

" No, it's not. It's fine."

Selena stared at him. It seemed as though there was something bothering him because he wasn't speaking which was quite unusual, not like he was talkative but at least he was a bit better. "Are you sure? Are you alright?"
