"I'm sorry for trying to send you guys out, I have to take precautions in order to safely protect
others". The policeman apologize to Henry in a low tone.
Henry replied "I understand. You don't have to be sorry…. I'm Henry by the way, and this
here is Ava".
"I'm Ben". The policeman said. "So what is it like on the ground floor?".
"It's been overrun by the infected. I don't think it's possible to make it out that easily". Henry
answered. "And I don't think they have any weaknesses either". He added.
Ben sighed deeply before he said "I emptied 12 rounds of bullet on one, and yet it kept on
coming". Everyone in the room became more frightened than before after they heard what
Ben had said.
One out of the people in the room added "For what I noticed, it seems they're attracted to
noise and they are cannibal, hence also attracted to blood".
Henry stood up from where he was as though he had an idea, and said "Then let's use that
to our advantage and get the hell out of this hell hole".
Ben replied "I don't understand, how?".
Henry started explaining the plan to them. "Since they are attracted to sounds, let's use the
emergency alarm to draw their attention to the place we want them to be instead…. We will
also control where we want the alarm to go off, and we have just the right equipment to do
that".
He turned and stared at the computer, which was at the corner of the room. Everyone saw it as a great
plan, except the man who was previously yelling at Ben to kick Henry and Ava out. He said
"We should just sit tight and wait for the police or calvary to come. You see, I'm a
businessman, and I've got lots of connections, let me make a call and they will come save us''.
Ben said to the man "Look here Mr…. (Staring at the man to tell him his name). "Ethan". The
man replied.
"Ok, look here Mr Ethan", Ben continued "Firstly I don't think if the police team would come
here, I myself have lost contact with them. And second of all, we can't stay in this room for
long, because there's is no supplies and we're going to starve. You can stay here if you don't want to come with us,
because this is the best option we have so far". He turned to everyone in the room and continued
"If you know you can't follow through with the plan, you can stay here, it's your choice. When
we get out, we will send help, but if you're willing to follow us, then you have to stick with us and with the plan.
and do what we do".
Ben nodded at Henry to continue.
"We will send off the emergency alarm at the takeoff zone. Then we will wait for a few minutes for
the infected to take the bait. Then we rush to the ground floor, head to the parking lot, there
will be an ambulance truck there, we will take it and get the hell out of here".
They all nodded in agreement to the plan, Henry went ahead to set the computer up for the
plan.
He activated the alarm of the take off zone, and they waited as planned. They heard rapid
footsteps and growling of the infected, heading towards the direction of the alarm.
From the window of the room, they could see the infected already at the take off zone. "It's
time to move". Henry said.
They removed the barricades quietly and opened the door. Henry held Ava by her hand and
whispered to her, "Stay close to me". She nodded. Before they came out of the room, Ben
checked to see whether the coast was clear, which it was.
So they proceeded to the ground floor.
At the ground floor, they saw some infected, but the infected paid no affection to them,
instead it was trying to get to where the sound of the alarm was coming from.
So they sneaked past all the infected they saw quietly, and headed to the parking lot.
At the parking lot, they saw the ambulance, on getting to the ambulance, there was a power
outage at the airport which made the alarm stop.
Everyone who was at the parking lot began to panic as their plans were falling apart.
Mr Ethan then selfishly rushed towards the ambulance, Ben tried to stop him, saying in a low tone
"Stop, let's stay together ". But he neglected Ben's warning.
He opened the driver's door. In an attempt to look for the ambulance key he mistakenly
flipped the ambulance siren on.
"Look what you've done, you moron!... Turn it off! Turn it off right now!!?". This time Henry
yelled.
Ben rushed and switched the siren off. For a moment, there was silence. And everybody
gave out a sigh of relief.
But that wasn't for long because the ground began to shake, footsteps were heard heading
towards their direction. Henry then asked "Where is the key!! Where is the key!!!".
Ben looked for the key, then replied "I couldn't find it". They saw the infected gaining on
them.
"Run!!!. Run!!. Run!". Henry shouted, pulling Ava with him as he ran.
They all began to run…
Mr Ethan tripped and fell to the ground, one of them went back to help him up, Mr Ethan
seeing how close the infected are to them, instead of him dying, he pushed his helper
towards the infected, and this made him have more time to escape.
The infected caught up with most of them, Henry and Ava busted out from the airport and
continued running on the exposed road.
Soon they were surrounded, they stopped. Henry, still holding Ava, turned to her and said.
"It's okay, we tried our best…. Just close your eyes''. Which they both did, while waiting for
the worst.

Meanwhile, after five years when the outbreak occurred, Sun city was no more, it was in total ruins, Peter and others who were extracted and saved from sun city five years ago didn't make it to any of the zones as the zone they were supposed to be dropped off was already overrun by the infected. These made them engaged in another terrifying journey , looking for a safe place. Their search came to an end when they found an abandoned prison yard, they saw how safe it was against the infected and decided to stay there, but it didn't stop them from putting more barricades at doors, fences . They made the prison more fortified and over the years their population increased as more people were rescued and accepted into their base.It's been five years, and it seems their base is thriving, people who were in the base were given their roles to play to ensure everyone understands each other and to protect the base. [Zone115]Finally Mark came up with a plan to overthrow the military in their zone before the next shipment arrived and supply the military with more weapons and ammunition making it harder for them to go with the plan.
