A SMALL SACRIFICE
He fell asleep at sunrise, and he only enjoyed his deserved sleep for a few hours. Though it was filled with recurring nightmares, Andrew hated to wake up.

"Stop scowling at me," Andrea announced when he kept frowning at her.

"You have two cops waiting for you."

Andrew cursed under his breath as he wobbled out of the bed, stepped toward the mirror on the wall and froze in shock. His eyes were red and swollen, and two red patches appeared on his two cheeks

The picture glaring at him made him sigh as he hurried into the bathroom.

Minutes later, he was dressed in a grey suit that matched his gloomy mood, and he walked with a lack of alacrity into a splashy large room that was attached to his private suite.

"I am so sorry for keeping you waiting. Because of the incident, I find it difficult to sleep, and was just dozing off when I heard of your presence.
