MERE HUNCHES
Their flight was uneventful, and they arrived at Arkansas City by midday. After having a light dinner at The Presidential Hotel, they boarded a taxi that took them to the state prison.

"How are you, Stevenson? Have you confessed where you kept my money?"

Older, paler and thinner as a result of being locked up, Stevenson stared at his visitor with a hateful countenance, and then let out, "I saved your money into an anonymous account. My sentence for fraud is just a few years. I would rather go to jail and then enjoy the wealth whenever I am free than give it back to you."

"What if you don't get out of the prison alive?" Andrew asked with a scowl. "You seemed to be underestimating my power as a prince of this city. It will only cost me a few dollars to get rid of you."
