OBLIVION
Time is fast when you are unconscious. To Andrew, it was some hours of sleep. But in reality, the loathsome son-in-law of the O'Connors had been in oblivion for a week.

Waking up in a white-painted room made him disoriented for a while.

'Where am I?'

He raised himself into a seating position and gawked at the patient's gown on his body.

'Either I'm in heaven or hospital. What the heck... I didn't remember falling sick.'

His eyes darted around the empty room, and his nose caught the scent of medicines that filled the air.

'I'm in a hospital. What brought me here? I am not sick, am I?'

The door to his ward jerked open, and a lady in a white frock stepped inside. And her face suddenly became cheerful at the sight of Andrew.

"Thank God you have woken up," she mumbled as she walked towards him.

Andrew peered at the beautiful young lady, and his memory seemed to be coming back as she walked closer.
