A CONFUSED HEART

Alex kept taking deep breaths to control himself, and after a while, his aura disappeared back into his body.

He looked at Aridan, with his eyes still cold.

“Come here.”

Aridan swallowed the lump which suddenly formed in his throat, got up, and walked towards Alex who was still staring steadily at him.

He stopped an inch away from Alex and wiped his sweaty palms against his trousers.

Aridan's heart skipped a beat as Alex pulled him into his arms, giving him a tight hug.

“Thank you, for coming back alive, my boy.” Alex whispered, patting his back.

Hot tears rushed to Aridan's eyes and it fell freely on Alex's shoulders, wetting his leather jacket.

Alex let him shed his silent tears, remembering that he was nothing but a teenager; a talented, strong, and obedient one.

When he felt that Aridan had stopped crying, he pulled away and stylishly wiped his tears away with his thumb, while caressing his face.
