Alex pulled Ariella closer, simultaneously hugging the three of them, before placing a kiss on each of their cheeks.

Ariel sighed in relief, finally breathing fine when he realized that Alex won't die because he healed him. Luz just overreacted because the books exaggerated facts, making Luz think their father got hurt while trying to save him.

“Luz, I'm sorry. Please don't be mad at me. I didn't even know what he was doing. I would have stopped him if I knew it was risky or noticed when he started the process,” Ariel whispered, touching Luz's shoulder's over Alex's back.

“And that's the problem. You don't know. You don't know anything, he's forcing you higher when you're not yet ready, you don't even know the basics. I never blamed you. Dad is the culprit here, he hurt me, not you,” Luz whispered back, pulling away from Alex.

Alex rolled his eyes at their words, before forcing a smile on his face.

“Let's go eat,” Alex said with a smile, leading them to the dining.
