CAUGHT IN THE ENEMY'S WEB

“Where is my stone?” He asked again, taking one step on the air which shortened the huge distance between them by half. He was simply walking through space in his current state.

The woman looked down at the soldiers, most of them were already dead. But her eyes remained cold and emotionless, as if she had no business with the people that just died before her. They were her loyal subordinates but she didn't even make an effort to rescue them, despite having the ability.

“What stone are you talking about?” She asked with a smirk, which infuriated Alex the more.

“Courting death!” Alex growled, pointing a finger towards her.

His finger seemed to contain the weight of the entire world as numerous blocks made of cold energy fell towards her.

“The one courting death is you!” The woman roared, her voice echoed in the wilderness, sending fear to the body of every creature that heard her.

She forcefully raised her sword with difficulty, as if contending against an invisible weight.

“Reflect!”
