HE CAN'T BE INNOCENT

Eleanor yawned tiredly as she finished the last batch of cleaning for the day.

"Damn it! It's already 6p.m. The twins have definitely starved to death by now," Eleanor whispered tiredly, rushing to the escalator which was meant to take her downstairs.

"Eleanor!" One of the store managers in charge of the clothing department called from her cubicle, making her footsteps automatically halt as she listened to them.

"Yes madam, is anything the problem?" She asked with a tired smile, going back to the manager's cubicle.

"Please dear, you will be going off work late today, one of the sales attendants had to go gini early today," the woman announced, not looking up from the computer systems.

"Excuse me? My kids are all alone. I have been working since morning, I didn't have time to cook lunch for them. And it's nearly dark. I need to turn on the inverter in case there's no light in our area due to the electricity challenges experienced by our street. Please, I really need to go home. Why do
