HITTING WHERE IT HURTS

Alex was scowling as he read the reports before him on his desk. It was one of the few days he spares time for CloudSea corporations, and there were already bad news on his table infuriating him.

“What the fuck is the meaning of this? I spent just a few days at Food Haven and you allowed things to spiral to this level. Are you all stupid? Why didn't any of you think about informing me?” Alex roared, throwing an expensive miniature tiger sculpture at Emrys.

Emrys quickly moved to the side, and caught it with his palm. He held it and quickly faced the floor, letting Alex rant to his satisfaction.

“You asked us not to bother you to enable you concentrate on Food Haven’s opening. You said we should manage things on our own, be it training, business or any military emergency that arises. So that you will have the leisure to propel Food Haven to success.” Emrys muttered, still looking at the floor.
