Alex stirred from his sleep and noticed that his arms were empty. There was also a wet towel on his forehead. He must have passed out due to the pain. Alex sat crosslegged on his bed, cultivating all night to stabilize his condition. Ariella's dizzy spell had aroused in him an urgency to level up, in addition to the powerful enemies round about him.
