THE ENCOUNTER

Alex sat down in his study a few hours later, on his revolving leather chair, going through the piles of work before him. He had quickly sneaked away the moment Bing Yu Xue slipped into a tired sleep, and rushed back to his study.

The door opened at that moment, the door of his study opened, and an excited pair of feet ran in, followed by a more composed one.

“Luz, Tajana. What's wrong?”

“We have finally gotten a scoop on one of the hospitals recording missing kids.” They both shouted in excitement.

Alex frowned.

“One of you should talk to me, clearly. Tajana, what happened?”

“We have finally found leads and some solid evidence regarding the culprits that kidnapped school kids and patients from St Claire's hospital.”

Alex’s heart rate quickened in excitement.

“It's Johnson Baltimore, second son and heir of the main branch of the Baltimore family. William Baltimore is one of his under dogs who follow him around begging for a lap.”
