The Request

“What the hell did….?” Ariana’s voice was so loud until Clinton cut her short by holding her mouth, he glanced back at the door to Ethan’s room, after a few seconds; he released his hands from her mouth and placed both of his hands on her shoulder.

“You have to calm down, Ariana, or else, we might have another casualty immediately,” Clinton whispered, his eyes fixated on Ariana’s.

She was looking so scared and he could feel her body tremble, tears had started to fill her tear ducts, she already understood what was going on and why Clinton didn’t want Ethan to find out.

“I’m so sorry, Ariana, but what I said earlier is the truth, I really wish I had got there more earlier,” Clinton tried to console her, he still felt some guilt in him for Elena’s death, even though he never really liked her.
