Dave sat in his father's dining hall, about to enjoy the feast laid before him, when his phone buzzed on the table. Curiosity piqued, he picked it up and glanced at the screen.

It was an incoming call from an unknown number. With a furrowed brow, Dave answered the call, wondering who could call at this moment.

"Nelson?" Dave spoke, his voice laced with uncertainty.

Laughter erupted from the other end of the line, and Dave could almost feel Nelson's smugness through the phone. The joviality in his tone sent a chill down Dave's spine, causing him to grip the phone tighter.

"You're such a loser, Dave," Nelson taunted. "You think you can just coast through life, don't you? Well, let me tell you something, buddy. It's time to wake up and face reality."

Dave's heart beat faster as Nelson's harsh words pierced through him. He had always known Nelson to be a troublemaker, but he never expected such a vehement attack.
