Chapter 40- "He passed through a lot!."

Madam Veronica glanced over at her daughter who was lounging on the plush, velvet sofa in their magnificently furnished living room.

"Isabella, my dear, don't you have anything to do?" Madam Veronica inquired, her voice filled with concern.

She had always been an active and productive woman, ever since her Dad died, and she worried that her daughter was not living up to her potential.

Isabella sighed and looked up at her mother. "No, Mother," she replied, her voice tinged with boredom. "I've completed all my tasks for the day. I have nothing else to occupy my time."

Madam Veronica's brow furrowed. She had spent years building her successful business empire, and she couldn't understand how her daughter could find herself with nothing to do.

However, she knew that pushing her daughter too hard would not yield the desired results. Instead, she decided to engage Isabella in conversation.
